Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
